No, "the old days" were were pretty active, it's just that a lot of those folks don't really post that much anymore, and a lot I haven't seen in awhile. Some familiar faces have been popping up recently though, which is making me all;

The Pub used to be that forum...
It was first an alternative to OTD.. an invite only hidden forum called Cheers, it was as slow as vets forum is now
Then people cried elitists and unfair so they made it open, and it was gravy train for a while
Until we got 5 billion noobs

Vets forum has been there forever (at least relative to how long you and I have existed here.)
I often wonder how many forums I don't know about exist.
Beyond that I wonder which of them are worth knowing about. For example there is a forum for eRepublik (an online social strategy game) that is hidden, but it's dead (extremely dead now that most of us have quit the game) and wasn't anything special to begin with.
From now on, though, I'm gonna assume there is a new(er) "Pub" forum that exists and is invite only. That assumption makes things more interesting.

I was into it until shit got really crazy and essentially required a minimum half an hour of game time every day to get anything out of it.
I also get tired of things quickly. It's rare I finish any video game, let alone a game that requires reading and interaction to get true satisfaction.
Edit: Shroomism is a mod and is clearly lying. He has access to every single forum and subforum here. I estimate the count, not including subforums, is upwards of 86. He just uses old internet typo memes and made up figures to make it sound like nothing goes on in the background.

You need to be a member for about 3 more years to post in it and 4 more years to make threads in it
There are other forums like the mod/admin forum, supporter forum and a few others but I'm not sure exactly what you have right now to tell you what you don't.

27 public forums. Register and OTD becomes available making it 28 forums. Stick around for a bit and ODD, the Marketplace, and the Gathering forums become available. Making it 31. Throw in a few bucks and you get the Supporter forum (32).
Then there's the Admin forum, the Mod forum, and the Town Dump.

There is the mod forum, which we all got a glimpse of(both the real and fake one) for a couple days during the last April fools joke(which was hilarious might i add) The only people to fall for it were members only here for a year and under, which made it even funnier to see the newbs freak out.
I know of one thing most of you guys are not aware of though which includes you mods. It started out as thread in the supporter account forum but I think was ended because of all the newbs who started buying supporter accounts a couple eyars back and it recieved some narc threats from some newb faggot.
Basically the thread was a vendor and dealer source thread. After its downfall some members (not to be named) got together and formed a whole website forum dedicated to the vendors/ hushmail accounts and open trading between members. All the previous info was added to the site and new info added as time goes on(after all it is a forum)
Its invite only and you have to be a shroomery member for years, a good general rating and more importantly a good trade rating you need a rather large number of posts as well to show your an active shroomery member. Its also invite only so asking to join only insures you will never become a member. Also the only person to invite you is the administrator and there is only one. The admin must also know that you are already very knowledgeable and experienced in the internet drug buying hobby through reading your posts about the subject. And the final requirement is that the admin actually likes you or you will probably never even hear of the site.
You can go to the site but it just looks like some random forum board that has nothing to do with drugs but once you sign in it comes very apparent what its all about
