Shroomery Poker Nights

**EDIT**- so this idea never really worked out as planned, but i figure we can change this thread into the spot for shroomerites to meet up and play some poker.

decide with whomever you are playing what the stakes will be and go from there.

im on a lot and am down for full-tilt most of the time.

sorry it didnt work out guys. i should have thought this through a little more.

was really fucked up i think when i posted it and just wanted to gamble. :lol:

i was just talking play-money, but we could also turn it into a contest though, to make it more interesting.

Maybe if we get enough people to all put in one item(each) into a pot that are all around the same value and the winner takes all?

or we could just do it for one single prize? nothing crazy really, same type of things you would see traded in the marketplace.

Ok then so as of now then, anyone who wants to play, shoot me a pm:pm: stating that you would like to play and what you might have to offer to the pot, and your name will be added to a signup sheet in the original post.

As soon as we have 6 players, we will then set up a play time based on a vote by those players.

Im willing to throw in some spores or possibly a few other items, does anyone else have anything to offer??

If we can get enough people (and this will be including myself) to donate prizes to the pot it would make it so not everyone had to throw in an ante every game, there coul maybe just be one prize per game so even poor people could have a chance at getting a print or some seeds or something.

but as a rule, you cant play more than once without contributing. to keep things fair.

Or everyone would throw in one thing and winner takes all??

here ill make it easy, everyone show up here and make a post at 9pm eastern time on september 26th  unless the op says otherwise

everyone should be settled in by that time and hopefully nobody is working or sleeping because they live in italy or something

im more of a night owl so 9pm east is about as early as i can make it happen, but ill prolly be up till like 7am, if everyone happens to get up earlier to play then just do it without me then i guess no big deal

damn... just got back.  I have been moving my stuff into my new house that I just bought.

well ive got both and like both... but full-tilt is pretty fuckin cool.

poker-stars is a lot more user friendly though.

oh well.. im probably gona be tripping for a good part of the day so i probably wont be able to play untill like 11:00pm EST or tomorrow.

I just like the tourneys on Pokerstars better. More of them, with more people, and more potential to win something tangible (on the freerolls).

Fulltilt was fun until I tried Pokerstars.

The software runs better, with less lag issues. The personal avatars are a nice touch as well. They also have better customer services. One time they gave my account two dollars just to get my broke-ass on the raked tables.

to tell you the truth i havnt had the chance to fuck around with either of them a whole lot lately.

maybe ill give poker-stars another go. :thumbup:

I'd be down to play some poker.
I think I have accounts on both Fulltilt and Pokerstars so I don't much care.

Real money would be nice to play with (small buy ins), but I realize that might not be possible for everyone.
