Caravan to Astoria Leaves Tonight
    #1111275 - 12/04/02 09:37 PM (14 years, 5 days ago)

We're headed up to the Northern Oregon coastline tonight and we'll be setting up camp. We'll be stationed there through Friday. Hope to see some of you all there, maybe a drink around the campfire?

come on man a little more notice would be nice. It would be cool if we did an organized gathering type thing on the coast.

The sign DID say don't pick the friends.. And I thought to myself gooD LORd I have ARRIVed.  Indeed I had.  I picked friends, communed with deer after following their shit for miles, saw amazing sites.  After several hours we sat on the rocks watching the mighty waves crash and boom into the rocky cliffs.  Glorious!  And that was just the first place we explored.  We stopped for a awhile and tried to break into locked doors on military installations that have become state parks.  Then we went down into Oregon and..  Well..

Whilst trying to relax under the beautifiul starry sky we were assaulted by no less than eight wild racoons.  If I felt like writing two pages you'd read all about it.  It'a quite a story.

I'm disappointed in my success, which is only around four and a half ounces of true-coming dreams.  Mycelium infested chunks of wood and broken limbs will facilitate future and interesting novel predicamentations.

An aquaintence in Eugene found several azurescens growing in his lawn.  100% sure and no shit.  This is exciting news if you KNOW what i MEan.

Happy things and stuff,

yeah..racoons can be nasty..i remember once at beverly beach having to defend my camp site all nite long with a beer in one hand, a shovel in the other, a smoke in the other hand, and a machete in the other (alot of hands eh?)..they'de sneak up behind ya before you knew it..totally fearlesss, and be all aggresive..fighting with each other..little bastardz..4 1/2 oz. aint that bad compared to the 5 (mushrooms not ounces) total i found yesterday..but that was only in a bout an hour at a very popular spot..it's just too dry and overpicked..at least where i was..i didn't have much time though..and for the record, there were pigs, er sorry, "peace officers", driving on the beach at 7 a.m. people..wierd...would love to see some pics of azures in eugene..prolly spread from outdoor cultivated beds if anything..let's see whatz up with that..post some pics..and yeah..oregon beaches rock..my truck almost got caught in high tide today while i was gone..god bless 4-wheel drive..peace..
