I think my next purchase will be a rifle, I really want a remington 700 but they are quite expensive

I only have three, a 12 gauge, a .308 and a .357 revolver.  My wish list includes 7.62x39, .223, 10mm and a 44 mag.

I have a friend from Iran, he was Takavaran, the equiv of the US special
forces, he was also reluctant to take his conscription but discovered that
it was something he was good at so he stayed for 16 years, it's funny
because when you talk to him he's just so pleasant and funny, just
after 9/11 we were at a waffle house talking about the events and a few
rednecks came in and started shit with him, throwing napkins, creamers
and shit and he just kept throwing it back smiling and laughing

a couple minutes and they literally drag him out to beat him in the
parking lot, he comes back in a minute later and gets back to his coffee
like nothing ever happened, the cops showed up a few minutes after that
and asked about the fight, people pointed at him and he just denied ever
being in a fight, said he met new friends and they were talking out
behind the restaurant but they had to leave because one of them sat on
his pocket knife

he was telling me that in his country, every kid can fight, it's nothing
but war for 5000 years so it doesnt mean shit to fight, he said that if
someone wants to get revenge or just piss you off, they stab you in the
butt so that you remember them for a month

that's just the sample pack, there's more I just never bothered taking
pics of, I even have that mossberg 500, SKS, stephens 20ga bolt action
and some other pistols

one of the things I like about my place is it's laid out well for target
shooting, I have 800meters from one hill top to the next, between them
at about 350m is good for sighting in for deer hunting

The Arabs (1st generation) seem to have a different sense of honor. I've seen them fill the stereotype of always fighting in groups. If three of them are there your fighting all three, even if your alone. They will beat you up, then when your laying there they will shoot you point blank and blow off a finger or knee, as part of the message.

Your crazy to go up against a group of 4 or more, without carefully picking time and setting. One of them will run away and make a phone call, next thing you know 30 of them are there with weapons and shovels.

I have a Glock 9mm for PP. You can carry concealed in my state. After this flush I will be buying my first AR-15 probably a bushmaster.

Hey pris, are those guns all different enough so that you felt like you had to get them, or you just like collecting guns? I like guns but I'm not very knowledgable about the differing types and things like that.

Sweet fucking collection though, I want to have a collection ala Sarah Conner someday. :lol:

several different calibers, different shooting profiles, the .338 Lapua,
.30-06 and .300 win mag have almost flat ballistic trajectories to about
1200 meters in relation to the .308, a couple of those are .50cal black
powder rifles

I believe Juniors point in poking the guys butt was to show him that
kids shouldnt be picking fights with grownups, 3 vs 1 and the guy
pulled a knife on a guys that let them drag him out of the place

most of the arabs I've known in atlanta have been really good people,
they dont want trouble and arent looking for it but I've never known
one of them to be scared... I watched one guy about 20years old hold
off about 8-9 people with weapon, all he had was a little pocket knife
with a 2" blade, I whacked one of them with a pool cue and they
scattered, the guy claims I saved his life, I believe I saved theirs

once upon a time owning and learning to use a gun was the norm and so was carrying one.

it was actually seen as odd if you didnt. an armed society is a polite society.

never needed concealed carry permits or any such nonsense. my dad taught me to shoot starting at age 12. This is the way it shoud be.

while i think its bad that thugs and gangsters are strapping all the time its not like a law is going to change that fact.

people are not blood thirsty and are not going to shoot each other over parking spaces, and every state that has concealed carry laws benefits from lower crime. Prior to this that crime rate was lower because no one had to jump through hoops to be able to do so.

Do you think criminals and thugs do that? no. They just carry a piece and terrorize citizens who are too dumb to realize that the police cant save them.

washington dc's crime rate plummeted after the handgun ban was lifted.

we are so afraid of guns anymore that we dont realize that a gun is simply an inanimate object that doesnt kill people all by itself, and that guns prevent crimes as much or more than they are used for murder.

what about the children who get hurt or killed by their parents guns? well that is called negligence and its no different than keeping bleach, chemicals or other dangers within reach of small children. same negligence, just a different object.

I got a 7.62 x 39(ak47), a Remington 12 gauge(pump), a 20 gauge, a .22lr savage. Wish list includes a mini 30, sks, mosin nagant, ill take anything but my 7.62 is my baby. :awesome:

Oh yeah, no complaints against arabs in general. Just posing an interesting sterotype someone may want to consider one day. I meet/hang with arabs every day. I even dated a couple. They usually have great family values and close relationships with their kids/parents. One of my travel dreams is a trip to the Arab world for a few months covering Lebanon, Israel, Egypt, and maybe one day even Iraq.

I learn arabic every day, ill be able to speak fluently soon enough.

if you have the availability to travel to iran, take it, it really is a
beautiful country, while the official language is farsi/persian, most
people are also fluent in arabic and many speak decent english
