agreed! its like sometimes i am actually conversing, or just listening, to the old school guys who, as you put it, have 'been there done that', the type of guys who would revert back into a little kid, enthusiastically asking questions non-stop

from my limited perspective, i think veggie contributes to the community more than anyone else i see (probably because the other guys are behind the scenes or in different forums?)
i love how wiccan_seeker always asks provocative questions, that anybody can relate to, that stir interesting conversation up.
pris, as he is affectionately called  , seems to know something about everything, and seems to have helped countless people here with legal/financial problems
i think dimension_X is one of the funniest dudes on here
i think chronic777 and jiv_jan have some of the most profound/insightful posts
so many great posters, too many to name, but i just wanted to shine the light on some who i think deserve recognition

There are different posters I like for different reasons.
Some I have met and hung out with enough I would consider them actual friends.
Others have been active posters since I've joined.
There are a few who I respect for their musical taste and I PM back and forth with new albums, bands, and styles to listen to.
Others I haven't met, have little interaction with, and aren't extremely active, but I recognize them non-the-less and they have helped shape my experience throughout the years. This ranges from the ever passing n00bs to the people who have better things to do with their time than accumulate 20,000+ posts in under three years.
Who those people are specifically is irrelevant. Those who I have met know I've met them, and those who have been around longer than I know who they are. I don't exchange PMs too often, and almost all are music related, so those posters know too.
I guess the guys who don't stick around don't know, but fuck them, huh?
