Two quick ?'s on Temp and Spore Legality

Just two quick questions: 1) Do any of you growers out there have any advice on what to use to measure/maintain a temperature for your incubating/fruiting cakes? I'm going to be using the invitro method, and I was just wondering what's a reliable, easy-to-use method of checking the temp/reliably changing the temp to what it needs to be. 2) Are there any states or places in the US where spore syringes can't be shipped to? I'm on the west coast, I was just wondering if there are states here that aren't so keen on them. Thanks very much!

im gonna save u from some harsh responses because both those questions canbe awnsered by reading the, say it with me now, FAQ. one more thing, fruiting cakes is the easiest thing i have ever done, now i can understand not wanting to do a casing cause thats a little more difficult, but why even do invitro when you can take it out of the jar and put it in a tub with perilite and increse your yield.invitro sucks man

The spores are illegial in Georgia and California. as for the other question use the search page and the faq. The answer is there believe me.

The spores themselves can be shipped anywhere in the US but Florida and Georgia. Note that the companies that sell them do so for microscopy use. They are legal if used for this purpose.

Thats what they sell them for, as selling them for the purpose of growing magic mushrooms is illegal, so the only way to get around that is to sell them for a legal use.

I know, I'm just pretty sure they have a gut feeling that not all of their spores are being used for microscopy use.

Spores can't be shipped to Florida?.. never heard that before. Infact, I think Florida is more tolerant about shrooms than any other state to my knowledge.

it is illegal to possess spores in california and georgia. They are legal to posess for microscopy in all the rest of the U.S. because spores do not contain Psilocybin or Psilocin. You are not allowed to grow/posess mushrooms anywhere in the U.S. because they Contain Psilocybin & Psilocin which are controlled substances.
