Living life on the Edge?
    #1110452 - 12/04/02 05:29 PM (14 years, 3 months ago)

I was just sitting on my bed getting stoned and listening to some goood old drum and bass when I suddenly started thinking about how we all seem to like living life on the edge? Because alot of people I know like to think they do. Sometimes I think I do probably.

So I gotta ask here at the shroomery where there is a wide variety of people that may or may not agree with this: Are you out to live life on the edge?

sure there is. if something starts squeezing your skull, for instance, you'll find that there's a limit to how much squeezing a skull can take.

In a way no one has any choice but to live life on the edge. Knowing that at any moment some twist of fate could end your life on this plane (getting hit by a bus, lighting, a meteor smashing into your head, 747 demoslishing the skyscraper your in etc...)

Also between oneness and aloneness.

my favorite saying is "if you arent living on the edge, then you are taking up too much room"

lives are short and often are shortened furthur, you dont know how long you have left to live, you may live to be 100, you may die tomorrow, so really living on the edge is the only way, if you want to do something, then do it, you may never get a chance to do it otherwise

Yes but if you are someone that sits in your house all day on your computer, ordering food online etc, and doing NOTHING else then that your not really living on the edge. When your buying kilo's of weed every 3 days and shifting it straight away, and growing mushrooms so that you and your friendds are constantly supplied, Seeing how far you can really push reality, seeing what can be achieved is what im talking about. And Im not just talking about dealers. People who are famous globally are also pushing the limits of what can be acheived

Do you get what I mean??

"Living life on the edge"

Living life without boundaries. Seeing how far you can push it without falling off the edge

I dunno if I'd really consider myself living on the edge...

I plan to push the limits of my consciousness with relatively safe drugs throughout my lifetime, and I'm a person who often tends to be quite cautious. I'm really not too risky when it comes to physical harm, but very risky when it comes to mental. :P

If you are a graffiti artist you are risking your life by braking into train yards where the chances of being electrocuted or being hit by a train are very high.

for fuuuuuuuuukkkkkkkksssss sake...

By the way, I dont consider someone who makes "Mandalas" in thier free time for a hobby a person who is living life on the edge. Just fuckin act right, stop tryin to impress everyone cuz it dosent matter, nobody is sittin at thier house right now or drivin thier car thinkin about how wiser or ne one else in this forum is "livin life on the edge". no one cares. besides ur not even livin life on the edge fake ass.
