I get the exact same feelings.
I also get a feeling that certain folks have been around since the beginning of time. I often feel that there is a core group which has; or at least a core group which I have seen around in past lives since the beginning of life cycles.

it's funny you should mention that...cause I, myself, have always felt like one of those types personally here  :smirk:

every time I start feeling like it's high time to break free from this mess once an for all though - I gradually come to the realization that I've done it all before, and this is the same old drama I've experienced a thousand times over (just, you know, under a different set of circumstances) and then I remind myself that if I were able to pull through it then - then all I have to do is reach down within myself and pull out that same inner strength that pulled me through this same bullshit the last time I went through whatever it was that I thought was so overbearing at the time, an keep on trucking knowing damn well that it WILL most definitely get better again...eventually

and sometimes I wonder why I keep at it if life's just gonna recycle the same ol crap over and over again anyway...but then I remind myself that just because the underlying principal of things are the same - that by NO means makes it experiences themselves the same (much in the same way as the never ending battle of 'good vs evil' will indefinitely be portrayed through art/music/film forever and ever...but... always with new plots/characters/etc in the process)

life is like an infinitely complex kaleidoscope of sorts in that sense  :cheers:

I feel that exactly.
It's the same old dramas, stories, conflicts, etc being repeated.
I always get that feeling of "heeey...this has happened before".
As irrational as it sounds; sometimes I wonder if parts of our long term history are made up by the powers that be in order to keep us from figuring this out.
Kinda like in the matrix where they were stuck in that time permanently; but without the pods and robots.

During each life cycle I think we learn to overcome some of the things that baffled us the time before.

Our consciousness is wiped to a clean slate each time we reset so we wont remember quite what happened and we have to relearn everything through the same trials and errors that we did before.

im sick of the blind idealism that people have when they say i was born in the wrong time period who says that you would be in the heart of the movement you know. depending on who your parents were and where you were born would drastically effect things.

i could say i was born in the wrong time i should of been back in the 1920 for the giant jazz parites and the great gatsbey type shit tho i realize i very much so live in that now.
but any who times are very similar to that now specially the women most the women im friends with are very similar to flappers

reguardless i think its silly tho think that just cause you were back then things would perfect. theres people that live in the world that you would think the 60's about now. but shrug im a shitty debater

There's some cool things about this era, all I can think of now is the internet and iPods, honestly.  I'd rather live in the '60s myself: I hate cell phones, Facebook, modern pop culture, pop music, etc. but I just don't pay attention to those things.
