Hi Guys!
After signing off I took your advice and really sat down and talked it out with my roomies....I told them I wasn't interested in selling my friends, growing my own would be safer, etc. They are paranoid about spores arriving in the mail, however. We agreed that it had to be as simple as possible and easy to hide....I;m thinkin of the simple cubensis growing technique, using perlite... I want to do things right and take it slow...has anyone had any luck with this method? I really can't afford a pressure cooker right now....the author of this method seems to be against them...has anyone done this method with a regular cooking pot? if so how was it? Also, im doing this in my closet....will damp perlite eventually make my clothes smell? Thanks guys!

I ordered a syringe from PF and got it within two weeks, they keep it completely anonomous. I used a large pot to sterilize my jars on a gas stove. I innoculated six and none were contaminated. I use perlite in my chamber, which is a large tupperware container with a 2 inch layer of perlite on the bottom, and i use a fish tank bubbler in a jar, with plastic brillo pads over the bubble stone to increase humidity. so far i have had good yeilds off ever cake.good luck

my housemates were a little paranoid about the syringe in the mail thing too. I just had it mailed to someone else's house. So far they haven't been raided by the police, so I figure I'm ok. You can boil your jars instead of using a pressure cooker. Read the instructions in the MMGG under grow/find -p. cubensis.

good luck.

I admit I'm a little paranoid too, but On the PF website it says there are no federal laws concerning those spores....so I'm using that statement to calm their fears....I don't want anybody to know my business, thats why I will not have them sent to another person's house....how long do spores last before they expire??

Just clean the jars out really well using soap and water make shure you rinse out all of the soap. When you sterilize your jars you should kill any thing that is still in there. I had some success boiling jars I kept them in there for like 2 hrs covered. I know it is a pain in the ass but you don't want any contams.
