yes that is true they will compete and you will get the better genetics out of the bunch i read RR talking about that a few days ago

so maybe, just use agar to clone?
but anyways i feel like there still could be a huge difference between spores in constant motion and lc in constant motion anyone have any reliable data confirming a favorable one?

i use to isolate and clone. i was saying that i found a thread saying to put a good bit of spores on the agar so they compete and that is a good way to get a strong isolate instead of a little bit of spores and weak ones can survive.

Yeah that is true with the competition and all.
Goliath looks sexy don't it
Correct use of LC is to inoc with a wegde of agar from a monoculture plate. Shooting spores in LCs is a bit blag but we all do it. As for RPM i don't know but from that link it looks like you need to obtain a vortex. If you shoot MS then i would wait until you see myc before stirring via magnet.
Dextrose is active glucose and used in respiration, you could use raw sugar instead.

so what 2% light malt then 2% sugar(sugar in the raw? or is just regular sugar?) should i just take a wedge and not isolate it i guess? just from the first plate then to lc? thanks guys

Not to sure about LME mate but use raw sugar, check this out its sick,

To be honest it's entirely up to you how you grow. My method goes like this; MS to agar, transfer to a new plate, grow, take another wedge/s to make new plates, grow, use wegdes to inoc grain, fruit and the clone the badboys. Obtain a monoculture/s from the clones test the monos, done.
