So who here knows everything about every single person who may drop by? Which poster fits that bill?
Debunking nonsense may get someone mad, but perhaps that is EXACTLY what they need.

i presume you know more about some of the regular posters than the people in their "real" lives know about them.
it sounds to me like you are vainly trying to justify your behavoir.

Good points. In fact we all get emo and take things personally. In fact, that's our problem when we do. No one can force us to be upset or angry or any emotional state for the most part. Not with words anyway.
I often become sarcastic over things I don't like here. Especially when repeated ad nauseum. But really that's my problem. If you don't like it that's your problem.
Besides Swami has aches and pains and a shitty life experience.

is the fact that we personalize a problem....or that we are ignorant of how we come to our emotional conclusions?
we should embrace our personalizing...but analyze it from an emotionally detached perspective.

Some personality types have trouble accepting that everyone doesn't believe the same things they do. It makes them upset. I think they feel like they are wrong unless everyone agrees with them.

because he finds himself wasting far too much time talking with a bunch of druggies in the back waters of an overall retard filled cesspool that is the shroomery - and, really, time wasted here is actually only legitimate if one is growing.... (juries out on that I guess)
so otherwise I guess this forum (particularly this section) attracts a few salty bastards that like reactions from people they perceive less intelligent than themselves - dare they engage a more academic bunch.

I personally wouldn't consider it debunking, as I despise this term because nothing can ever really be disproved over a message board. Instead, I see that your posts have a tendency to come off with a sense of "dickish" sarcasm, the kind that makes the weak sway in their beliefs. This is where the resentment comes from; people become afraid when they are forced to reanalyze their current views, and this fear spawns anger towards that which called those views into question. So what if people get pissed? They alone are responsible for their emotions. If someone is so weak and lacking of confidence that one poster can make them question their beliefs, then those beliefs should obviously be reevaluated.
