So whenever I don't have pot to smoke myself to sleep with I always suffer from insomnia.
just been layin' here thinking about all the crap in my life...
It seems as though there is a never ending pile of bullshit that I have to get to, and all the while my social life has been intruding into my obligations like never before.
uugghhhaaaaaaaAAAHH! And I have to be at class at noon (EST) ...
is anyone else awake right now? I'm just bored really.

I'm the same... I've been vaping myself to bed everynight for 90 days straight now... it's going to hit me VERY hard when I stop.
The trick is to have your habit small enough that you can afford to smoke 365 days of the year
Other then that, wake up at 4-5am at the latest and blast yourself with multiple hours of exercise through the day... you WILL sleep that night.

I had really bad insomnia when I quit regularly smoking bud a couple years ago. I started taking diphenhydramine to go to sleep but I hate taking it because of the side effects. Luckily I just found a lot amanita muscaria mushrooms. It's my all-time favorite sleep aid. It knocks you right out at the proper dose.

Definitely, I got hooked on Doxylamine (same shit basically, sedating antihistamine) a few years back.
Got you to sleep but waking up was horrible, groggy as shit.

Yeah i'm the same way when i don't have a little toke before bed.
Just like some people take there Ambien or Lunesta before bed, i take my herb.
But it's 4am here and i haven't gone to sleep. I'm up because
-A. I've always had messed up sleeping habits
-B. I'm going on a night hike later today so i'm planning on sleeping in late.
Another herb i have had great luck with helping me get to sleep is Valerian, 400mg-800mg. I highly recommend giving it a try. Next to Valerian root i would recommend some melatonin, 2mg-4mg and i'm out. Combo the two, with some bud, and good luck trying to stay awake haha.

Yeah, I do have a bad mj habit. Basically been stoning myself to sleep for the past 4 years, daily.
I have valerian root, but I didn't even think to take it until it was too late. It usually helps when I decide to quit for a while. After a few days of withdrawl induced insomnia I get over it and get just get to sleep regularly provided that I don't relapse (aka hang out with my friends)
the sun is rising. I think I'm going to give this another chance.

Yup, when i don't have bud i get insomnia and loss of appetite.
It's just getting in that habit of having a toke before bed, and relying on it to gently whisk you off to sleep....But i don't see how is this any different from people that rely on other sleeping aids to help them get to sleep. What ever works for you .

I can't sleep on weed anymore myself. I used to do the same thing.

Eat lots of mineral rich foods, sprouts, plankton, dark leafy greens etc. You probably can't sleep because your body is so out of balance

Haha, i'm the same way man....I'm definitively a night owl.
I've always enjoyed the peacefulness of late night and early morning. I like going for late night/early morning walks through out my neighborhood with the streets completely dead & the air totally silent....
I also get a kick out of watching the town come alive, starts with early morning joggers and dog walkers. Then a few commuters. Then the birds start chirping. The sun starts to rise, kids start walking to school, the streets get busier....
...Alright i'm stoned and babbling, & i really need to get to sleep.
Peace shroomery

Like a wet dogs ass hole that has been sitting in a gym bag for a year.
It does have quite a funky aroma to it doesn't it?...Sorta like wet dog and smelly feet. But at the same time, i will admit there is an essence to it that i like.
Oh yeah, and i'm still not asleep . I have a mountain to hike in 12 hours, and won't be able to sleep until about 3pm tomorrow

Melatonin man, get the liquid sublingual drops - 3 droppers full. Great sleep, non drowsy next day + bonus of very trippy dreams. I have one of the most fucked up schedules known to man and this is a Godsend.
