Regardless, I see what you're saying

Sorry took so long for me to post back PerfactParadox, had to go get the green. Well its hard to say how to controll your emotions. You might not be able to fully controll them at frist. You may only be able to hold back the emotions, as to, not let them show. Meditation helps controll of the mind and the will of your being. When you are totally tranquil, you will be in controll of your emotions. I am not saying i am in complete controll of mine, but one day i will be.

How do i center myself? How do i view myself from an unattached state of awareness?
That's like asking me how to love.
Also, is it pratical to center yourself and view yourself from an unattatched state of awareness everytime I dont like an oncomming emotion?
You don't pick and choose which emotions you like and dislike to stay unattached to... I think even joy and happiness should be calmly observed, because just like sadness and anger these emotions are like passing storms, and don't last forever. It's best to just watch them blow on by and not get caught up in them.
Again, just my opinion.

A brief, indefinite interval of time. eternity is an indefinate interval of time. It has no "defining" boundry. A particular period of importance, influence, or significance in a series of events or developments: a great moment in history; waiting for her big moment. Nothing exists if it's not in the moment here and now. The universe as a whole is one moment containing past present and future endlessly moving and changing.
Outstanding significance or value; importance - needs no explanation
A brief period of time that is characterized by a quality, such as excellence, suitability, or distinction- an inconceivably brief and inconceivably long moment. Viewed from an outside observor our universe could be the briefest of phenomena lasting only a heartbeat. From inside our universe this short moment(from the outsiders perspective), would be to us all of eternity. I think Einsteins theorys would back this up.
Hey I just got the to the part where you said you understand what i was saying. Oh well i'm not gonna waste all this writing

well yeah I was just making sure it was understood that technically the word eternity means timeless, and the word moment has to do with a PIECE of time.
