Contam? I have a Pic...please look..thanx

My friend is doing the PF Invitro Tek.He is concerned whether or not these dark spots are contamination. In case you haven't guesed, its his first time. Here are some things that might help in figuring it out

-he shook the jar somewhat so it might be bruising
-the dark spots have stayed the same in size and have not spread
-he has not opened or smelled the jar yet
-the yellowness in the pic is actually pinhead development, which is coming along quite well

any suggestions? will he be able to tell distinctly from the smell if it is contaminated or not? Is there anything else he can do to see if his "science project" is ruined or not? He says "thank you"

Looks like it could be bruising, hard to tell from the pic. Just leave it alone for a few days. If it is a contam, you will know soon enough. And don't open and smell the jar in case it is something you don't want. Looks good to me.
