That's what I'm familiar with too.

But I guess if A and B are the only answers to choose from, A.

It goes foward and backwards like the true nature of reality.

If you are god remember himself you are a living person who will remember he is god.

If you are being reborn as a person you are god forgetting you are god.

It continues on and on in an endless cycle infinitely.

“Strengthened by contemplation and study,
I will not fear my passions like a coward.
My body I will give to pleasures,
to diversions that I’ve dreamed of,
to the most daring erotic desires,
to the lustful impulses of my blood, without
any fear at all, for whenever I will—
and I will have the will, strengthened
as I’ll be with contemplation and study—
at the crucial moments I’ll recover
my spirit as was before: ascetic.”

God does not exist. God is beyond being. There is nothing there. There is only God. This is a dream.

Wherever the hero may wander, whatever he may do, he is ever in the presence of his own essence — for he has the perfected eye to see. There is no separateness. Thus, just as the way of social participation may lead in the end to a realization of the All in the individual, so that of exile brings the hero to the Self in all.

A. God's amnesia powder is very weak and he fucked up.

B. You are more powerful than God - and are special!

Which is it?

Although I enjoyed this thread, this OP is crap and neither conditions follow from the premise that 'we are all god forgetting himself'

Fine, I will bite.

C. God forgot himself on purpose so he could make a journey of remembrance. Our disconnection from god is therefore part of his will.
