Specimen 1 (Don't have a lot of info for ya other then the pics.
Habitat:
On a tree

Gills:
N/A

Stem:
N/A

Cap:
Big and orange/brownish

Spore print color:
N/A

Bruising:
N/A



Specimen 2 (Looks like a yellow Amanita Muscaria

Habitat:
Under a tree, in grass. Near Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Gills:
White

Stem:
Reasonably thick and white. Did not pick it so I am not sure how brittle it is.

Cap:
Yellowish with white spots. Pretty large.

Spore print color:
N/A

Bruising:
N/A

I dunno the first one...maybe Gandoderma? The second looks like Amanita muscaria.

1: I'm thinking Ganoderma applanatum
2: I'm thinking you're probably right, but need a fresher mushroom and a base to be sure.

Amanita muscaria var. guessowii is what I think number 2 is.

The first is Ganoderma lucidum, Reishi, that's what the shelf form looks like.

The pics are of 2 diff amanitas(or what looks like it). the one is completely open the other may not have a open veil yet. would it help if i took more pics?

They change shape pretty significantly as they age, looks like they're probably the same kind.

I took more pics if this would help confirm that the mushrooms are Amanita Muscaria's. After I picked the one, it developed light brown bruising on he step. very light though.
