Automation and air exchanges - few questions

My friend is throwing around ideas for an automated cabinet. Right now, his plans include a 6 foot cabinet, and believes that he has the ability to keep the humidity at optimal levels, and air inside the chamber constantly circulating. He also has plans for lights, and heat.

His problem origionates from the fresh air intake. He is planning on using timers that turn on two fans connected to a HEPA filter. This however will surly bring the humidity down into the upper 60s for about 20 minutes.

Will this be a problem if it only happens like 4 times a day?

So in summary:
for 22 hours a day, the humidity is constant at high 80's
for 2 hours a day, the humidity drops to low 70s/upper 60s

Problems?

If the air in the chamber were to be constantly circulating. (and it's a pretty big cabinet.... in his plans) do you think that replacing the air with fresh air 4 times a day is enough?

That's all he really fans his terrarium, and it works fine.

That is my setup. The air exchange i have is produced from two holes about the size of a basball and i just leave them open all the time. It provides plenty of air exchange, and the cool mist humidifyer keeps the air circulating and the humidity up.
