What kind of landscape do you prefer for tripping?
    #11050452 -

There are many different kinds of forests and landscapes, which kind is the coolest to trip in to you?

(I'll focus on landscapes I'll be able to find in my area, so include your favorite of those mentioned and your favourite that isn't mentioned.)

Pine and other open and symmetrical tree forests with it's more open but endless rows and rows of trees? If so, how high do you like them, do you want them so high it blocks out most of the sun or younger pine that you can see the sun and the sky? (Note, do not walk in these tripping, draw a circle and stick to it, getting lost is quite possible even with a small forest.)

Lush rainforests with their sheer density and green beauty...

An endless beach without footprints.

An walk around a cliff into the ocean, with plant life and interesting rock formations all around you.

(BTW if it is rainforests include your second favourite, I can't get to the one in my area to often sadly...)

As long as there is chaos.

I despise rows and other efforts of humanity to put some sort of "logic" into things they shouldn't meddle with.

i hate tripping in forests cause i tend to get very lost very quickly, i love the beach, the way everything is so simple, yet feels so amazing especially the water against my skin

I think variety is the key... i've tripped in frozen mountains, lush forests, and sandy beachs. I still have many spots i'd love to go to...

I want to see as much as I can...

How about creating your own landscape with crazy lights and various effects machines in and around your house. Every light pulsating and changing colors, bubble machines, glowsticks, and every other light up play thing you could think of? Like a prankster party with Ken Kesey(R.I.P.). You can create a whole new world in the comfort of your home. lol. It's nice when it's to cold outside.

I'd rather just wear a shit load of jackets and maybe start a fire if it's cold. I often feel claustraphobic tripping indoors. I mean, it's alright if you're having a closed eye "into the mind" type of trip- but I only do that every so often and even then end up wandering around outside once the peak is done.

There's nothing wrong with tripping indoors, but I personally can't stand it most of the time. I like having tons of space and fresh air.

yes but tripping outdoors comes with more dangers and less ability to control your environment.  I prefer to trip in/near/around my house, and if the trip goes south, I don't have to worry about being in a strange/unknown place and have to worry about getting home.  Then if i want to get outdoors, I can take a walk or ride my bike somewhere.  I like having that control/option.

It's a bit dose dependant... I mean, I wouldn't eat 15 grams in the middle of a strange enviornment- but for a regular dose up to 3.5 grams or a single tab LSD it's awesome. Having an unpredictible trip is a good thing... psychedelics arn't about having control.

You have to take into consideration police, wild animals, and weather... but if you use your head and take a moderate dose- well, I for one have never had a serious problem and i've tripped in all kinds of enviornments. I'd rather not live at all if I have to live in fear that something "could go wrong"

Have a friend on call and plan accordingly... it's that simple.

I'm not trying to run your life, I respect the fact you like to trip within your comfort zone- i'm just throwing out my view on the subject. :mushroom2:

I am fond of tripping at night in the pitch black either outside or at home. I prefer the inward journey and for me it is hard to go inward when there are a lot of physical distractions around.

Otherwise, I love being around water. River, stream, ocean, whatever. I feel connected to water and I feel at home whenever I am around it.

When I was younger I'd trip in all sorts of exciting places.  Manhattan on weekends, laser light shows, forests, the beach, and Great Adventure.  I think back and psychedelics were a way for me to enhance everyday experiences.  Now I enjoy the psychedelic for itself.  I don't feel the need to electrify a walk in the forest with mushrooms.  I trip in my home and safe from any sort of unpredictability.  Oh, but don't get me wrong - being in a forest high is dazzling, I'm just too old for drama.

Don't PM me with bullshit.  I don't sell or trade cactus and I don't know where you can get any, other than your mother's ass.

It's a bit of peculiar one but... outside, in a small village, at night time. I mean a REALLY small village in the country-side with old cottages. It's good at night because the lights/candles coming from inside the houses look cool.

I'm gonna try having a fire next time. There's a cool bit of space behind my house where we used to have bonfires. Nice and safe, not too far from home but still out in nature

Then next month I'm going to do a solo trip, indoors, maybe in silent darkness. Or maybe musical darkness, depending on how freaked-out I get  I like looking at candles whilst trippin - especially pink/purple ones against sky-blue walls - and incense sticks - smoke + candles rocks. I'm sure the smoke is affected by the music.

As long as there's mushrooms involved and not too many people, I'm not too bothered.

Bodies of water FTW

I make it a point to see the river (tennessee r.) every time I eat mushrooms, unless of course I'm traveling.

something about just seeing it is so comforting

The beach is always good to trip at but I think my current favorite would have to be a spring.

We are planning a "trip" to the springs soon. You get a nice camp sight surrounded by trees and wild life and on one side is a spring to hop in and take down and around the park. I'm mad excited for the next outing.

A bud and I are thinking about renting this container, renting some nice marshall(or other) amps  and locking ourselves into it for a weekend and recording it non stop.

Get a load of trippy carpets/covers to hang off the walls too.

Can you imagine it. Mmmmmmmmm

I like to trip in forest. Where's no strange people ,who aren't with me. But trees are great! The most psychedelic plant: it can blow your mind If they want it.

Wow, I hope I get that chance soon.
I live in the Netherlands, perhaps on a vacation to the most amazing country I've visited so far.

Norway.

Which coincidentally also has plenty of other places I'd love to trip in.

never tripped in the rainforest btu id love to.  i have a llot of my best tripping memories at the beach at night..  something about being outside under the moon as your  only light.  no flashlights or streetlights.  just dull grey light over everrything.  then the factor of nobody else around makes the world seem like a ghost town.  this could be cuz i trip early morning most of the time like 2 am
