My larger casing has two shrooms on it about an inch high an nothing else no wheres that i can see
Lack of visability due to verm on the top of the casing

I know theres more pins under there somewheres but its gonna be a few days till they pop there heads thru

Sounds like you got an uneven pinset. If so, try patching next time.

I would but when i cased it i put the verm on so i cant see thru it to see if its over laid or not so how could i patch it if i cant see it??
Any suggestions mush?

overlay is when the mycelium over colonizes the casing layer which is usually inorganic runs outta food and dies. the mycelium then becomes hard and matted. u should be fine but patching just promotes even pinset as more agressive mycellium pokes thru the casing layer cover it up with a lil bit of casing mix to let the slower spots catchup thats how this even pinset thing works? :/

I think you got deep scratching and patching mixed up. To deep scratch drag a fork across the surface of the casing to break up the dead myc. Expect about 15 days added to harvest time.
