Stacking cakes in the Hydra-Pod
    #1104260 - 12/02/02 02:31 PM (22 years, 5 months ago)

I just purchased a hydra-pod from Mycotek. While reading MycoTek's FAQ I learned: "The new Hydra-Pod has a holding capacity of 7 FULL pint-sized cakes or 1 dozen half pint-sized cakes. However, cakes can also be 'stacked' in the Hydra-Pod to take advantage of the larger vertical free air space offered by the new pod in order to double the amount of the pods holding capacity to 14 FULL pints or 2 dozen half-pints."

Would this mean I simply stack my pint BRF cakes directly on top of the ones below? Or do I need to seperate them with a piece of plastic or somthing? Will the ones on top stil get wicking action?
Anyone out there had good results with stacking in the hydra-pod?

Yes stack them one on top of eachother, they will (basically) grow into one cake..Letting the wicking process from the geo-lite work through both cakes. I love my hydra pod!!
