Uneven Distribution

Does anyone else find that with bulk crops their mushies like to grow around the sides first? Anyone know why?

And while I'm at it, another quick question.
I read that psilocybin production is heaviest when the fruits are still small. Does this mean that mushrooms that are taking their own sweet time growing are going to be stronger?

They grow where conditions are best. Edges get good light, good FAE, and humidity along the side of the tub.

which means you dont have high enough humidity in your tub and the mushies are only growing where it is best.

its not that they are takin there time and that makes them stronger(unless your fruiting in cooler temps it makes for dense and more potent mushies), its that mushies dont get bigger through cellular division rather cell expansion.  so as a lil mushy its full grown "cellular wise" but expands with water to mature thus in a sense diluting the alkaloids.

so small mushies have the max of what they are going to produce in them b4 the cap opens or b4 the mature.
