A friend of mine calls me, and tells me he got raided.
they were doin serious stuff from what he says.....but lived with 4 people.......claims the utilities were in one guys name and that dude took the fall.
Now he wants me to drive him to another state.
I don't live in his state.
Should I drive him? Or am I at serious risk

Hmm... let's see... Harboring a fugitive, aiding and abetting, accessory after the fact, transporting across state lines...
You don't really know what happened and it sounds like he's on the run.
If he's a friend then why not buy him a bus ticket? Seems a hell of a lot better than getting involved and a lot of times it's cheaper than the gas you'd use.

Well I have been wanting to go to this state for a while......I have family there.....and I have been trying to talk this guy into road tripping it with me.......
.....Now the opportunity has come where he is down with the trip....
I'm leaning more towards I make have police watching me if I get involved........I don't do anything too illegal......but I don't want any sort of heat

Now that I think about it........
If a house got raided on serious stuff with 4 people......
Wouldn't everyone in the house get charged.......there is no "one person taking the blame"

That depends on what statements were made by the people who were there, where in the house the drugs were found, any other evidence like fingerprints on the drug bags and the mood of the investigators.
If the drugs are hidden in the common area of the house and there are no fingerprints, it may be difficult to pin the drugs on any one person. That is kind of unlikely though, usually its kind of obvious whose drugs they were.
Driving someone like this around is asking for legal troubles. OP may be better off helping by getting some people togeather to chip in for bail/lawyer.

They rarely fingerprint anything like this. Mostly because it doesn't really matter. Whoever owns/rents the place is in possession of the drugs, along with whoever is in the area and aware of the drugs presence.
Usually they will play the people against one another and they usually get whoever they feel like charging.
The fingerprints don't really matter since it's not proof of anything. All it proves is that you touched a bag, not that there was anything in it at the time or that you were in possession of anything. Sometimes they'll sweat people with the threat of fingerprinting, but I've never heard of them actually doing it.
