Ketamine IM turns into accidental IV

So my bf and I IM'd some ketamine the other day, we have done this plenty of times, so I know what an IM feels like vs an IV.  I used the muscle right below the shoulder as always, when I did the shot it felt a little strange, and hurt more than usual (which still wasn't much at all).  It started hitting me hard within the minute, and I went way deeper into the K hole than usual.  Total loss of ego and crazy visual and spatial distortions.  In 30min it was like the whole trip went on rewind and I flew backwards through everything really fast. then landed in my bed.  I was glad to be back, because those intense k holes can be scary.  The total trip was 30 minutes instead of the usual 45-60.

Has anyone else had this happen before?  IM a drug in the usual, proper manner, and have it hit a vein somehow and give you an IV.  Ive done this about 10 times, and my bf has done K IMs 100+ and never seen or heard of this before.  I guess there are some small veins in your muscle that I happened to hit?

Also, I think ODD would be a better forum for this, but I can't get in there yet, so I figured I would just post here.

I IM very often and I never accidently hit a vein and honestly i would prefer it cuz it would save me the trouble and its more efficient rofl

Two days after I tried it for the first time last week,I saw a show about this hospital in England.

This 20 year old girl got knocked down and dragged under a taxi. She was in a bad way but was still conscious. They gave her morphine.

Then,the doc calls for 100mg of ketamine.

The nurse responsible mistakenly injected her with 1000mg. Her heart stopped beating straight away. They gave her adrenaline,giving her cpr,the works. Nothing. More adrenaline,more cpr. Her heart didn't start beating again until 10 minutes later.

30 seconds later,her heart stopped again. She came around after about 2/3 minutes. Got me well scared.

How much would you take?

Ya was fucked up. 10 minutes. How long before some permanent brain damage? She was fine after btw.

I took a few tiny amounts. Couldn't have been more than 10/15mg a few times. Felt like the seconds after being spun around really fast but milder.

How much for just before the k hole?

I think the morphine just to ease the pain but the k so she wouldn't be aware of what they were doing to her.

What would be a good nasal blast about 50mg? Don't want to hole jut yet but might have to knock myself out at the weekend to dodge a comedown.

mda and k,your opinion?

I'm not coasters girl, I wish he got pot like coaster (were on the east coast), but my bf's K is superior to coasters.  God damn that K is good.  Yeah, I kind of liked the freebie IV (i hate needles in veins, it freaks me out so ive only had it in the hospital (not k, but opiates and valium and stuff)

Whats strange is I've got a freckle on my arm, so I always hit exactly the same spot (right above the freckle) and use the same 1/2in 31guage needles, yet this has never happened before.  (I think I pushed it in a little harder than usual, so maybe there is a vein right below the muscle I usually hit.  It was quite a ride, probably the most intense K hole ive ever done, and im a big K hole fan.  If I do K, im going to the hole, anything short of that isnt worth it.

Another little K tid bit of info.  Anyone thats IMing or IVing or just snorting enough for a hole, try going to di.fm and turning on the trance channel.  Headphones are preferrable, lay in bed naked on your back and cover your eyes with a shirt (or one of those fancy sleep masks if you got one) just anything to block out all the light.  This preparation is what my bf taught me and both of us think it is THE way to do ketamine.  You experience such crazy things, insane gravity distortions and you just feel like you fly around all over the place, with weird, dark (just darkish colors, not evil/scary) visuals.  I really think at this point that that trance channel is made for ketamine.  I trip SOOOOOOOOOOOO hard, and as soon as I take off the headphones the visuals stop and I go from just barely having regained my ego and still seeing/feeling crazy shit to 90% sober instantly.

It might just be us, but other people ive got to try it said it was amazing as well, anyone who likes K should give this a try and let me know what they think

Thats fucked up, that nurse should lose her job IMO.  1000mg K is 2 fucking vials... you would need a 10cc to inject that (probably in a drip I guess).  I K hole with 75mg IM if its been a week since I used.  My bf uses 125-150mg (150mg is about the very most you can get into a 1cc seringe (overfill it to like 115-120 units).  If my bf has tolerance he will put 125mg each in 2 rigs and cross his arms and hit both arms at the same time.  hes fucking crazy with drugs, and uses too much (although he still makes good grades, so I dont get on his case too much)

They were probably still oxygenating her blood, just her heart wasn't working so it was just waiting for the drugs to wear off and the adrenaline to kick in; thus the time period didn't really matter all that much in terms of brain damage or organ damage.  That crap is easy to control in a hospital situation

Heres how:  Contact a foreign pharm company that makes K vials.  Tell them you would like to buy a few hundred grams of pure ketamine, before it gets put in vials.  Ask for s isomer only, or some of s and some of racemic (the s isomer is a lot more expensive).  Then you get shipped completely pure ketamine, racemic and s isomer (150% more potent than racemic, and a cleaner high some may say).  This stuff looks like sugar, and is better than any vial ive ever tried, and ive tried most of them.  When you have pure k crystals you can cook up your own liquid, im not sure why, but it seems much better fresh than from the vial.

Of course, its all just opinion as to what is "better", but everyone who I know that has tried this stuff says it is better than any vial :shrug:
