Back when I was a stupid fuck (well I'm still stupid, just not as stupid), I was so gone off xannies & coke that I had left a plate of cocaine lying in the bathroom and forgot about it. Yeah. And this was the same day a fucking plumber was slated to come over.

Long story short, he walked into the bathroom and of course saw the plate before I could grab it. He seemed kind of surprised but went about his business and never said a word. I even apologized to him before he left. He said it was cool. Out the door he went never to be heard from again. He looked like a responsible family man.

These were my rock bottom days...4 years ago or more. Fast forward 2 months later and I got clean off both (xanax, coke)for good. I dunno if this incident was a determining factor, but it sure didn't hurt. It was really embarrassing. Here I was -- unemployed and addicted to pills and fucking cocaine. I was everything I used to look down on. It's been roughly 46 months since I quit, and the only substances I have done since has been copious amounts of shrooms & ganja. That's it. Oh yeah, and recreational alcohol abuse, of course. But that's another story.

And for the record...those fucking xanny pills might have been more detrimental than the coke. Seriously. If you're hitting them up for rec purposes every once in a while -- then that's one thing. But do them everyday and they will fuck you six ways from Sunday. Bad, bad news those fucking pills. And the withdrawals are no fucking punk, either.

Was the shit out in the open when he came? Since it's not your landlord I think you'll be good, but you never know. Since he's foreign it might be his relatives working for him or close friends. They might bring it up to him if they noticed it. Most likely they didn't know what the fuck it was and didn't care enough to repeat it to anybody. Just try to stash the shit in the closet next time and try to make sure it's not next to anything the landlord would have to access.

I've thought about this too, maybe if you had some edibles going as well it would be a good cover, and you could hook him up with some if he gets curious.

One sentence that will solve all your problems:
Gourmet mushrooms + mycology jargon.

Do not put them away IMO, that just screams suspicious.
And a landlord is unlikely to bother you, because busting you means losing income.

Move all the mushrooms, cultivation supplies and drugs out of the place for at least a month.

If the landlord asks what they were, explain that they were gourmet mushrooms for cooking.

If the police come, don't let them in unless they have a warrant.  They can easily get a warrant based on what he saw.  It doesn't matter that he entered illegally and that fact will not help your case.

If the police come, do not make any statements at all.  Do not tell the police that they were gourmet mushrooms.  Tell the police that you have nothing to say until you speak with a lawyer.  Do not attempt to explain them away or make any excuses, just shut up and let them do their job, which is evidence collection.

In the future keep all illegal items out of plain view when you leave your apartment.  You never know when someone upstairs will flood their bathroom and they will need to enter your closet, so its best to keep a tablecloth or wall hanging over them so it just looks like boxes.

Get iboga for the alcohol. If it can cure Heroin addiction Alcohol shouldn't be a problem.

That's exactly what I plan to do now. The closet is too small, and I use it as an incubation chamber anyways so I couldn't be fruiting and having jars going at the same time.

Nope, didn't mention a thing. He's not related to the landlord either as he's some white guy. I got the impression he just wouldn't have cared either way figuring it was none of his business. There's little reason for the landlord to care, but I see no reason at all for this guy to.
