I get de ja vu's every now and again, I dont think I've gotten it while tripping, not that I remember. Some de ja vu's are so real, like I'm just so positive I've been doing the exact same thing before in the same place and same way... I also feel like it could have happened in a dream before... but how does it all hang together?

I get deja-vu while sober sometimes, although i haven't in a long while. I got them before i ever did any drugs.
Also, I usualy get deja-vu while tripping on shrooms. I basicaly get the feeling that "I've been here before, I've seen this before".
It's like im going back to a place which I have completely forgotten about and that I will most likely forget after the trip.

When i experience what i know realize is what you guys call deja vu i will freak out because it is the same kind of feeling as "something really bad is going to happen, i just know it" i always freak out. it happens alot more now that i have not done drugs for awhile (by that i mean meth, i did alot of it) and i always freak out real bad. i guess i just think that i dreamt it and something terrible is going to happen. it is the same sort of feeling as when you are getting arrested or about to get arrested.

I had an experience last week with deja vu and shrooming but it really confused me. I had a dream a while back about taking some shrooms with my friends and then the rest didn't really make sense in my dream but I remembered a few things i said, thought and saw. One thing in particular I remembered exactly where I was in the dream and it was the same place I was when all this deja vu was happening. It wasn't the normal deja vu "spike" as I call it, where you have that feeling of deja vu and then its gone. But this lasted for about an hour and kinda freaked me out at the time. But the thing that freaked me out the most was the specific phrases that I said and my friends said. My name even came from that dream. In the dream I remembered calling myself the mushroom man constantly. And while I was tripping I called myself that without even thinking about it. I remembered the place, the phrases, and even the thoughts I had in the dream.
I'm sure the shrooms played a roll in this experience somewhat but this kinda reinforces the theory I have about dreams and their ability to predict future events. My great grand mother was psychic so maybe I've inherited some of those abilities
idk but if anyone has any insight to this experience that would be awesome.

Mushrooms & salvia have always given me deja-vu. LSD doesn't though.

I usually get deja vu every couple of months but the most intense time was the first time I did salvia. That was the most valid experience also (not that the other times it happens aren't valid or credible) because I had never done salvia before, ever!

I'll get insane deja vu, usually set off by a location or a smell, either sober or baked. On acid, I've had it randomly hit me a few times, and as with every sensation on acid, it was intensified greatly into a sort of prolonged thought loop where it was a lot easier for me to recall what it was that caused the deja vu. But that still doesn't tell me why I'm having this feeling.
Two of the main possibilities, in my mind, are past life memories or memories from the time between birth and my first concrete memories. I'd like to believe that it's genuine. Hopefully extensive psychedelic use will help me to know so.

They have no other protector than you. Please bless them that they may achieve the omniscient state of buddhahood. With the power of evil karma gathered from beginningless time, sentient beings, through the force of anger, are born as hell beings and experience the suffering of heat and cold. May they all be born in your presence.

the weirdest deja vu ive had wasnt on any psychedelic but on e. It was at electric daisy carnival in LA this summer. At the main stage there was a huge camera crane that was constantly panning across the crown. At one point it started to get really low and then fell down onto the crowd. Everyone was able to catch and hold it up and no one was hurt, but i knew i had seen the same thing happen in a dream before edc. very weird experience.

NEO: Whoa. Deja vu.
TANK: Oh shit! Oh shit!
TRINITY: What did you just say?
NEO: Nothing. Just had a little deja vu.
TRINITY: What happened? What did you see?
NEO: A black cat went past us and then I saw another that looked just like it.
TRINITY: How much like it? Was it the same cat?
NEO: It might have been. I'm not sure.
NEO: What is it?
TRINITY: A deja vu is usually a glitch in the Matrix. It happens when they change something.
