I don't think there are, in fact, I've never read of anyone successfully cultivating them. Stick with the psilocybes, they're better anyway.

I've heard not so great things about the trip on Muscaria. A lot of trip reports talked about getting a little sick.

Amanitas form a symbiotic relationship with trees so are quite difficult to grow though I've heard that you can inject spores into the roots of trees (pine?) but they take a few years to grow. You can buy spore prints for $8 from http://www.sporeworks.com/species2.html

amanita muscaria cannot be cultivated at your home as far as i know.
the trip for many people is just too intense so they don't like it. even though if you are on the people who like the trip maybe you'll prefer it from psilocubes

I would be EXTREMELY carefull with Amanitas. I've smoked muscimol shroomz (gotta be done pure in a bong) quite a few times over the years (last time was a few weeks ago in fact) which gives quite a pleasant buzz (similar to cocaine/amphetamines but don't expect a trip) in my opinion but wouldn't recommend ingesting them.

"Yep, a night in the hospital in the most awful psychic agony I have ever experienced while they poured ipecac (SP) and charcoal down me 'cause the little bastards refused to let me puke. After one of them and a couple of firm thumps to my sternum I asked the doctor if I was going to make it. He was rather preocupied with saving my life and sorta muttered, 'we don't know.' They would not treat me with anything until the mushroom was identified which they did by flying it to a poison control center in Denver, I think it was, by Navy jet from Moffet field. They then shot me with something that had me down in 15 minutes after about six hours of mental horror. The next morning every damn med student and intern came by to find out what it was like. I didn't have good things to report. Your mileage may vary. The view I got of the human condition and the burried sadness, pain and agony in everyone around and treating me in the busy emergency facility may have been one very powerful sort of empathogenic halucination effect but it fucked me up for a long time. I have tried nearly every psychoactive even remotely available and nothing, NOTHING, has had such a negative psychic effect."

this happens to people who dose as many grams they want! you MUST experiment to find the proper dose for you! always start low dosing!

All I've gotta say on this subject is be EXTREMELY careful. You wouldn't want someone to have a VERY bad trip or possibly DIE from following your advice would you Hamurabi ???

a very bad trip can someone have even from acid. that doesnt say anything. i had an extremely bad trip on acid on my first time and i was almost scared to death. but i cant say to someone "heyy you MUSN'T take acid! you may have a bad trip or die if u overdose". it's the same with amanitas

and if he has amanita muscaria and NOT anything else and if of course starts with low dosing nobody will die;-)

yeah i know but if anyone eat a low dose of amanita MUSCARIA he/she will NOT die!

Yeah i took about 5-10 grams of fly killers between 3 people in tea with 12 grams of zoomers in a differnt batch of tea. The zoomers were very weak (thats why we took the amanita's) No visuals off of 4 grams.. It was a very unique experiance and i feel i learned alot about my self that night.

PS: The amanitas were dry.

basically this depends on many things! i mean the amanitas i'll find in my country will be very diferent (more or less powerfull) from the amanitas that you will find from your country:-) someone in a previews reply (sorry dont remember who) said that it was very unpleasant! well with the amanitas that i've hunted people here ate them and felt the best euphoria that they have ever felt in their lives! and from the day after they felt much more wise than before;-)

Amantia Muscaria is a dangerous mushroom and should not be consumed unless you know exactly what you are doing and have an extra liver on reserve somewhere. Just stick to Psilocybe mushrooms. Its almost impossible to kill yourself with them. If you want a good safe trip take some L.S.D. 25. There is no mushroom in the world that will do what that shit does to you. (unless you want to play with death). And its nearly impossible to overdose to the point of death.

yeah the muscaria in europe are much different than these in america:-) i believe!

lsd-25 cannot give you the wisdom that the muscaria gives;-)

I wonder why it is that not many people make L.S.D.  Its from ergot which is a fungus that grows on barley and other grains.  I'm not sure how its exactly done but I wish I knew cuz I'd make it.  I miss getting some good ol' hits of L.S.D. 25.  I had a lot of good times on that stuff.  About what you said about the L.S.D. not giving you this wisdom of Amantia... I wouldn't know cuz I've never taken Amantias, and probably never will.  I've heard too many stories about bad experiences with them.  I do know that L.S.D. can expand your mind quite a bit.  I've had many experiences that brought me closer to nature, the universe, and most of all closer to myself.  I learned a lot from taking L.S.D. 25.  Believe it or not, I started devoloping some psychic abilities there for a while (unless I was still trippin and just thought I was LOL).  All in All, the main reason I suggested the use of L.S.D. 25 is because its much safer  :grin:
