i have a couple subbs spore prints.....

ive benn hunting subbs for the past couple weeks and i have a few prints. im thinking about trying to grow them inside this winter. i have no access to siringes. can i just scrape the spores into the jar for inocculation? also can i use the pf tek? how should i grow them?

I would rather use some popcorn or wbs  if using a print but thats just me.

You can scrape the spores into a jar...
Make sure you use a glove box. Those will be very difficult to cultivate indoors, especially if you're new to this hobby.

Shouldn't the spores be hydrated beforehand? I'd assume the risk of contams is higher if dry spores are scraped on the spawn medium than with properly hydrated ones.

But if there's rly now way for the OP to use syringes then he should try it anyways.

Are they really that hard to cultivate indoors. I haven't seen many people trying but the little info I got about indoor cultivation of subs it looks like it's not harder than pan.cyan for example.

But well probably too hard for this guy as he doesn't even have a syringe(=no cultivation experience I suppose).

All you can do is try.

The hydration isn't necessary since the grains will be moist enough to make the spores germinate.

Yeah, he doesn't need to be underage. Could be just for privacy reasons.

Concerning the agar work: I read of some ppl who used outdoor prints for PF/grains right away successfully. If taken and stored carefully they might be cleaner than some prints made not so carefully indoors.
