When do you guys usually harvest?

To all you growers, if a plant started its budding about 5 weeks ago, when should it be harvested?

The optimal time to harvest marijuana plants is when THC production has reached its maximum. A rough guide as to when to harvest is to wait until 50%-80% of the white pistils (hairs) have turned dark (usually brown or red). But a better method of determining when to harvest is to wait until certain trichomes on the plant have matured.

It totally depends on what strain you're growing. Different strains have different flowering cycles.

Im not really sure, was told the seeds were master kush...

But the leaves are a mix between fat and skinny, not as fat as indica, but not as skinny as pure sativa...the stems right before the leaves are a purple color...could it still be kush?

depends so much on environment, light source, soil/hydro and a many other factors...

I have gave friends clones of the same strain i work with, and when i go see how there girls are doing, they look like a TOTAL different strain...

So how they are grown effects how it looks...

Go to radio shack and get a pocket microscope

when the trichomes turn amber colored they are ready.

wait too long and the trichomes burst and the THC breaks down.

you can't say when it will be ready by time alone
