Ever had evidence supressed because of unlawful procurement of evidence?

I've been reading up on constitutional law and seems clear that my 4th and 5th ammendment rights were violated in the course of the police gathering evidence against me.  Don't worry, I'm gonna bring it up with my lawyer.  Wow, law and police procedure are pretty interesting.  I think I might like being a criminal defense lawyer.

Are you willing to defend those who are clearly guilty? Same can be said on the other side of criminal law. Best intentions are often subjugated by reality of politics in the legal system.

I'd imagine it would jade you rather quickly. I had a friend work as a prosecutor, then in criminal defense, then said fuck it and made some good investments and is now retired. Says the money was not worth the betrayal of his/her own conscience for those years.

Power to you if you can do it.

Maybe politics would be more of a payoff.

Yes.  Police entered the house after being told not to.  I had an attorney at the door and they lied to her.  I think I posted the whole story here.  Look it up if you have time, it is a pretty good story.

Cop towed my gf's car without knowing it was hers. broke into it. then drove around her neighborhood saying there was a warrent out for her arrest literally 2 hours after the incident(obviously not enough time to gather a warrent for smoking pot.

in the end, she just had to pay the tow fee. but it was still bull shit. the cop said he was gonna pull her outa school and arrest her.
