question on mmj

I live in California, and would really like to get my Cannabis card. However, almost a year ago I got a minor in possession of marijuana charge. I still currently have a suspended license due to this.

Does this hurt my chances of getting my card?

There's no background check at all. If you have the $$ you'll get your card. It's that simple.

Like the dude above said, you spend the money and they'll give you a card. They're not going to turn you down for any reason unless they are an ultra legit doctor like Medi Cann which requires paperwork... But theres many doctores that don't require anything but money and a good excuse.

Even the strict ones who require medical records will still take your money and give you a temporary three month card. Then you just have to bring in some sort of medical record within the three months and they will extend it to the full year.

And as far as the records you need to bring in it can be anything you've been to the doctor for. They'll even except records from a massage therapist, acupuncturist, dentist, it doesn't matter just bring in something and you'll be good.
