I've though about it, never done it with an indoor tub. (Outdoor tubs get flipped out upside down.)
Let us know how it goes.

I don't know man, but I just had to give your pic in the center of your signature 2 thumbs up! ! !
I’ve done that with trays before on a few occasions … not a big ol tub or anything. I honestly don’t recall the results being outstanding or anything otherwise I like to think that I’d remember

I am a new cultivator so take what I say with a large grain of salt but from what I have read mycelium might have been already adjusted to growing the way it has and transferring nutrients upward. Flipping it upsidedown might take extra energy to adjust that could be used for fruits. Like I said can't guarantee that but if someone else want's to correct or confirm that then please do.

I was gonna say the exact same thing, but I just didn't know if that was true or not
I have had pins that occured on the underside of the bulk sub (in trays), I dunked, and set the tray back in the FC minus the tray itself. I fruited kinda like a big ol cake. Those pins did grow quite well, but not all of them. I always thought that, like said above, the MYC had it's pathways sorta set and it would take a while at least before flushing well any other way.
P.S. dlf5093
I'm gonna give your signature another 2 thumbs up

well the mini dub tub I'm thinking about is overlayed*** and only has a few pins, but the bottom might look better for fruiting. i find i get a better pinset if there is more exposed uncolonized sub
just a thought. when it is done with the flush il take pics and possibly try it

I put fully colonized rye grain directly onto the perlite this was my first time growing I didn't know any better. But It turned out that i had flushes on top and on bottom. So if you turn that over I am sure you will get something that's been waiting to pop its head out. here is a not so good picture but you will see the layers. when I saw this happening on the sides I took my inexperienced hands and lightly poked a hole in the middle and saw i was bruising mushrooms I keep my tubs elevated so i looked under and saw a mess. Good Luck!! hope this helps. I might sound foolish i had a nice harvest today*

i agree !! mycelium is dumb it only likes a few thing and it will fruit any were it is exposed to air. an area that has not pined do to lack of fae will fruit when exposed to the change. so flip it but after a dunk only and the newly exposed area will pin. almost like new.
i am new to this mycology stuff so i am only pointing out what i have observed so .............
good luck and if the bottom has pinned then expect the same results no mater what side you point to the sky.
