Can I reuse a failed bulk substrate?

I was wondering if you could pasteurize a substrate that failed to colonize properly.  Im using straw and poo.  There is some myc growth but not very much.  Its just not spreading at all I think that it is way to moist.

It doesnt sound like a good idea.. Maybe just bury it outside and start anew with new materials..

try it and tell us how it goes. maybe the new myc can reoccupy the old networks.
