The first thing that came to my mind when I had my first trip was: Why isn't everyone doing this? This will solve all problems my friend.

because they've changed my mind in a way that is .... bitter sweet and now there is no going back so i might as well go deeper. i feel like i've been blessed by what they've shown me, but at the same time i think they're the reason why i hate 80% of the people i come across. there is no way i had the information given to me by psychoactive tryptamines before i had taken them. there is just no way. they showed me the UTTERLY unimaginable.

another reason why is the fact that they're illegal. for what reason? well, i don't think it's harm reduction since the body is very familiar with tryptamines so they shouldn't have any sort of negative physiological effects. the only thing that comes to my mind is the powers that be don't want peoples minds to change. they want to keep us apathetic and stupid.

bill hicks shared an insight to their use with respect to evolution. we have to illuminate the other ~90% of our brains that we don't use, he implied mushrooms are the key. stating:'do you think it's an accident mushrooms grow on cow shit?'.

I've heard of a South American tribe where the members subject themselves to hundreds upon thousands of ant bites from a species that does not have a deadly toxin, but whose venom causes excruciating pain for 1-2 days.  It is interesting because this venom is not psychoactive in the typical sense, but the intense pain causes deep personal reflection.

I've experimented with Ayahuasca twice, and each time I am usually over come with how uncomfortable the experience can be.  I don't think that the chemicals per say make you smarter in a basic sense, but similiar to the ant venom induced experience, rocking your world and showing how fragile your mind and life is has a very profound effect upon you.  It's almost like your mind is overwhelmed with the dmt, random thoughts flashing in your mind, you begin to give up on your normal thoughts, your normal brain processes, and feel your existense at the most basic level, before all of your ideas and feelings.  This I believe is the value of ayahuasca and ant venom, it can really get you back intouch with what's real.

I've experimented with mushrooms, and they can be insightful, but I haven't had the opportunity to use them in quite sometime.  They are alot more euphoric and recreational than DMT.

I personally have never really gained any true sense of insight from LSD, I feel like it simply messes with my mind in ways I can't really understand and doesn't result in a true getting intouch with yourself as DMT and mushrooms.  This is just my experience, and I have not experimented with it very much, and each time was with others who were more concerned about having a recreational time.

That is a very good question

a question I can't even answer cause I don't know what the drive is behind me wanting to rip apart the fabric of reality and freak out. It is something that if you do it right, is one of the most useless yet important experiences you can have.

I like cactus the most and its very spiritual for me. I lvoe LSD also so creative on it, but mushrooms bleh i dont like much they fun but seem lacking imo.

To get an alternate look at the unexplored dimensions of reality.
To understand elements of one's self better.
To experience some of the brain's aesthetic, spiritual, and creative powers.

It's a great life tool. To, say, experience a part of life that can be unique to you. A trip is your trip, no one else will have it, and it reflects a part of you.
