Kinda long sorry, just trying to get all the info in so I can figure out whats wrong.
I am on my second grow, both from the same multispore syringe and I am getting tiny fruits like 2-2 1/2" tall tops with the largest caps around an inch. The fruits look good other than size.
First grow was 6 standard pf cakes dunked and rolled for first flush and just dunked after. First flush produced plentiful short fat fruits.(think super Mario bros) Second and third flushes were more sparse in numbers but seemed to grow a little taller and not so fat. 1 or 2 mutants overall just strange caps. Total dry weight about 30 g's. Ended the grow due to contams noticed at the end of the 3rd flush.
Second grow is a 64qt monotub MS to LC to WBS spawned to coir, no casing 3 1/2-4" sub depth. The first early mature shrooms are a little taller and thinner than on the cakes but are still losing the veil while tiny.
Humidity is above 90 I believe FAE has been good in both setups. light is good. The only 2 things I can think is maybe too much fae is making my subs too dry. Or it is an multispore issue.
Right now in the mono I have about 10 small 1"-2" fruits opening their caps and about a thousand tiny pins just getting brown heads, should I pick the early fruits and dunk and hope the rest are better or chalk it up to a multispore issue, dump my LC's and start over with a fresh syringe?
And it's Mazatapec strain I know the fruits are said to be small but this small?
::Edit:: pics from just now

hard to say without pics....if you can take pics, please post. and I may not have the TC tag, but I'd start with some new spores....just what I personally would do.

I dont know I thought 3-7 grams dry was average per cake per flush. At 3 g's per flush that would have been around 50 g's. Most of the weight came from the multitude of fatties on the first flush there were tons but the biggest were only 5 g's wet.
Not unhappy just dont want to keep making the same mistakes If I am and havent been able to find an answer searching for the last few weeks. Lmfao The little buggers are potent as hell though, I would like to keep em going just for that reason.

Once, I put a cake into a 2-liter pop bottle and just never fanned it, and got tiny little mushrooms just like that. What've you got over your holes?
