really tired of people saying "we never went to the moon"

its getting really old. people are so quick to say that we didn't land on the moon, and will argue their (pointless) point with no facts to back it up.

i tell people the same thing every time i hear it: if we didn't land on the moon, the russians would have blown the whistle on us immediately. they were monitoring everything we were doing in space. if there was no moon landing, they would have known. remember, it was a "space race", right?

for the following year after our last moon mission, the russians landed a rover on the moon and explored much more of the moon than we did. did you catch that? for an entire year they explored the moon with a remote controlled rover. that means they have film of all of our crap that was left up there.

just today i saw a show on one of the history channels that showed some of the russians footage of our left-over crap on the moon. this is a day after my last argument with an idiot that i know about the moon landings. i cant wait to tell him to watch it.

so anyway, the next time anyone decides to tell someone else that there was no moom landing: STU!

ugh, i worked with a guy who wouldnt listen to reason, even after i told him i had read things which where much more scientific and less tinhat

:tinfoil: and debunked shit aside, there are a few places that try to come up with rationale, like that we can pas through xxxx belt or whatever just outside of earth without dying.

yeah, its a little akward that "we can put a man on the moon but can't ...." and that this happened in 1969, but the best thing to watch is that Penn and Teller Bullshit episode on conspiracy theories.

it debunks a lot of the bullshit, and honestly, how would they hide this? what you are saying makes sense. some asshat who comes up with illogical shit or psuedoscience really doesnt.

it happened. we landed on the moon, and its too hard to tell people that we didnt and have them understand that i am not part of some big conspiracy.

Mythbuster's proved it on one of there episodes, just saw it last week.  My favorite thing that people say to me when I tell them its true is "Then why haven't we done it again".  I guess they really can't grasp how big of an undertaking it was.  The rocket that took them there was and is still the most powerful thing Man has ever made.

NASA's attitude towards it was "been there, done that. whats next?" the moon was just the first stop in exploring space.

I can't stand the morons who think it's perfectly reasonable to say we didn't go to the moon. There's so much evidence. Retroreflectors and hundreds of pounds of moon rocks given to scientists to experiments to name a few. Besides if it was faked why would be have gone 6 times? And the moon orbiter they launched a while ago took pictures of the landing sites and you can clearly see the paths they made when walking back and forth from spots.

All of the 'proof' conspiracy theorists have is baloney.
