Strip em off and eat em before dunking and rolling for sure, aborts pack a punch!

Harvest them. If they're aborted they won't mature but if they're alive chances are that when you dunk them they will get waterlogged and abort after the flush. Eat em' don't worry there will be more!

Sorry to re-open this post, but I'm curious as to why you don't need to re-roll after the first flush? I haven't found very explained answers. I've also read several definitions and was wondering when would be the appropriate answer to when a flush is complete? would it be after the cakes put out several fruits, or when the cake is starting to dry up? Thanks in advance if anyone can answer these q's, and sorry if they're kinda ridiculous I just want to verify my info for future reference. (I'm sure fellow hobbyists would agree and appreciate as well ^_^).

flushes can be finicky, especially on cakes.
if i think i can harvest around unmature fruits, i will, if i don't think i can harvest without disturbing unmature fruits i do 1 of 2 things:
1. if im lazy i harvest everything 2. if i'm not, i cut off the caps to avoid sporulation and then give the other fruits a couple more days and then harvest them as well.
