i know the air pump is providing a lot of fresh air,

but i hope youre fanning also...maybe ur opening ur lid a bit and aiming that small fan in the fc...?

seemed to me my pmp became a more productive fruiting chamber after i made some exhaust holes in the sides, and the lid.

all the air pumping in needed somewhere to go. to circulate more air

i cut 1-1 1/2" holes in the lid and stuffed with poly.

MORE FAE my friend u need more FAE

i have had a keen interest in your setup for sometime now.  i guess i'll just come out and say, good job and keep the good work-ethic going.  a question i have about this setup is the ingredients u used for your substrate:

do you think i can substitute the worm casting with straw?  thanks!

i don't think worm castings are required, straw would be a good additive, but it doesn't come close to the levels of slow release nitrogen that castings do

i like to add it just for the xtra nutrition, and figured it would help get a better pinest for vertical cakes
honestly, i've never tried without it, but i'm sure it would work if you added more of any kind of poo +strw to sub for worm castings

Since somebody brought this thread back from the dead, I thought I would ask about other pan/cyan cake threads. Something that doesn't drag you into the threads of antiquity using the SEARCH function. I'm trying to learn more about PCH Maui. Thanks. :cheers:

I'm super glad I found this thread as I was looking for threads about birthing Cambos on cakes and didn't want to have to start a new one.

I noticed the set-up the OP has is much more intricate than my own as I'm working with a simple SGFC right now. Would I be able to fruit using this tek with my current fruiting chamber or would I need to upgrade. I normally mist/fan about 5-6 times per day until pinset when I just mist the walls of the chamber instead of the cakes themselves.

I also have a cool-mist humidifier running in my grow room.

Thanks for this inspirational thread. Definitely excited about trying this and my two varieties of PE that should be shipping out soon.
