I'm in the middle of fruiting my first 2 monotubs and they are on the first flush, i went out of town for 5 days and came home to a decent pinset in one but the mushies arnt getten that big, they are a lil taller than a lighter and about the width of a decent sized pen, i'm wondering if the moisture is whats doing this, the other tub just started to pin not long ago and looks ilke its gonna have some decent fruits, i'm trying to get atleast like some 50g wet ones out of this... i'll have pics in a few days once i get this damn camera but should i dry out the moisture with a paper towl cuz it is getten a lil overboard

well if you have two 56 quart monotubs than for sure you are going to get more than 50 wet grams out of it. does the sub look dry? ie bruising, no ariel mycelium or fuzzy bases on the stalk of the mushrooms?

I agree. Fae is a big factor in the size of your mushies

I got about 1100 grams from a 56 qt mono on the first flush alone.

Ok yes the stems are fuzzy at base, no bruising on sub, and the sub doesnt really look dry, it has a bunch of moisture on it and i'm not talking 50grams off just the hole tub i'm talkin 50g wet single mushies, i had 35 gramers on cakes, i was really shootin for 2 oz flushes or more
EDIT: Its large doses tek and the Ohmaics or somethings monotub that was on large doses coir tek, took 10 days to colonize and lil over a week to see pins, i'v never tookin the lids off till today 6 2 inch holes with poly fil looosly packed in them, the other tub has some really decent sized pins that may get pretty good in size but its just now really showing good signs of life. pics will be sunday
