Wow so there's finally something out there that's going to be worse than the first one. I didn't think it was possible!

Watch the movie Overnight. You'll realize why Troy Duffy was the joke of Hollywood.

really worried it's going to be the latter. quite honestly, the trailer didn't leave me all too optimistic. i feel like maybe they should have just left well enough alone.

a lot of people say its their favorite movie. i have seen better, but i still think its a great movie.
just because a director like to show off a new style of film making doesn't mean that its "a stupid film". I am sure a lot of people thought that way about Quentin Terrintino when he made Pulp Fiction, until they gave it another look at.
p.s. Pulp Fiction is a bad ass movie. Especially while tripping!

New style of film? It was a pathetic attempt at being Tarantino-esque, and it failed miserably at it. I'll grant the fact that the film quality was good, and some of the fight scenes are really cool, but it's tied together with the flimsiest plot ever. I've seen porn movie plots that make more sense.

I'm gonna give it a second viewing for redemption at some point, but that movie was just god awful terrible the first time I watched it. But it's not to say that I didn't thoroughly enjoy The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou and The Darjeeling Limited. TRB was just bad.

I didn't really see it as being a Tarantino-esque film. also, i didn't care for this movie the first i say it either. I still wouldn't come close to calling it the best either. But I still think it is a good (over-hyped) movie worth watching.
I think the shroomery should be able to allow a rating system for movies and music. that would be a nice feature.

Because it's a horrible movie. I don't really have time to point out why it's so bad, but lets just say it took me 6 different times to actually make it through the whole thing.
It was a bad movie. Through and through. There are absolutely no redeemable qualities to it.
How it gained cult classic status I don't know. But I can guarantee you most of the people that propelled are under the age of 13.

I thought I was alone! Non-existent story line mixed with pretentious 'moral' overtones = big piece of shit.
Oh cool, these douchebag micks run around and murder everyone they disagree with, from eeevil drug dealers to guys jerking off. Meanwhile, they kill a bunch of people, punch dikes, get wasted and shoot animals.
I've never heard anyone bad mouth it, but am thrilled to see the rotten tomatoes 17%.
