Time to Fruit?

I have an interesting casing. I had a bulk case [hpoo/straw 1:1] that was @ %100 and fruited 2 medium flushes. It was done multi-spore to wheat berries. The wb were spawned to the bulk substrate (2 qt spawn to 1:4 bulk sub). I had a spot of contam early on during the 2nd flush. I ended up taking about %50 of the bulk sub that was %100 colo'd and flushing and used it as spawn for another casing.
The new casing is 50/50 verm & coir. I do understand all the reasons that this is not a desirable way to case. From the extra energy it takes to recolonize to the ever growing rate of contam.
The original bulk case I am positive was no where near spent, I used fantastic nute's, spores, and the pinset on the second flush was cropped early. If you know bulk cases, you know when your case has started to rev up. This one was just about to when I turned it into spawn.
I have never done this before as it is not a desirable way to case, it is more of a waste of materials. Because of this there is not many posts for this scenario. Even agar said he only did this once and that was hpoo to hpoo.
Here is a picture of the case at the end of day 3

What would be the suggested route to take? Just looking for opinions.
Should I allow more time to colonize? Should I fruit as is? Should I apply a top layer and fruit now? Should I allow more colonization and then case a top layer?
I did not expect the substrate layer to be as deep as it was. I had about 7-8 lbs of spawn from the bulk, and I cased with a 1:1.5 ratio to the spawn. This was because I had a lot more vi table spawn that I thought and I preped not enough coir/verm.
Just goes to show you, I tried to prep what I thought was too much and STILL ended up with too little. Remember preping too much is always more desirable than too little. ;D

I would fruit as is with maybe a bit of a casing layer as well.
I myself wouldn't put anymore time or effort into it. Just start with fresh spawn etc.
