prednisone and weed

I have been prescribed prednisone for a skin rash i have. I took 40mg yesterday and smoked weed at the same time and it was not 2 bad. I Was just stoned but i couldnt sleep at all till like 8 am in the morning. Today i took 35 mg of prednisone and just smoked a bunch of buckets tonight(i woke up at 7:30pm cause i was up so late last night my schedule is totally fucked. But even though i smoked so much im still stoned as fuck but i have lots of energy its quite wierd. My heart rate seems to be going pretty crazy and i dont really feel like moving around i just have a total head clearness. Anyone else ever experience this combo i don't really like it 2 much cause it fucks up my day.

Yeah I had a sinus infection last year and the doc gave me prednisone for some reason. The first day I took it the pill made me hella tense and everything was pissing me off and driving me crazy. I HAD to smoke to calm me down and even after smoking I still felt really weird and just ready to pounce a motherfucker. The next day I only took half the pill and still got that tense feeling but it wasn't near as bad, I just quit taking the prednisone and stuck to the antibiotics. Prednisone's a shitty med and has fucked up reactions in some people, and I was one of those people.

Well I still have not even become at all tired which is really strange as i almost always bog out after a fat seshion of weed well im going to smoke a bunch more but i'm starting to doubt that will help at all

Well I have not slept since taking the dose of prednisone and now i just took another 30mg this shit is almost enjoyable just with the energy its giving me but i have still not even passed out yet and im not at all tired and i have been smoking lots and lots of weed all night to no avail

I just had it for awhile and it really didn't effect me at all, besides taking any pain I had from my sore tooth away, which was great. The shitty thing is that there isn't anything besides Prednisone for a lot of disorders and whatnot, my dad for instance has recurring nasal polyps and no sense of smell since having surgery to take the polyps out, the Prednisone is the only thing that allows him to breath and shrinks the polyps. The thing is it's really not good for you and you can't take it for very long, I know this has nothing to do with your thread but just had to babble for a minute. Some people do get weird effects from it though.

Prednisone is a steroid you guys.  This means that your body will be amped up and obviously sleeping will be a struggle.  Taking prednisone for a short period of time like your instance of curing a rash is okay, but avoid long term usage because the side effects are severe from long term prednisone use.

You are fine. The marijuana is giving you anxiety. Prednisone is very safe drug when used for a short period of time. It's a corticosteroid so mixing it with marijuana is safe.
