thin casing layer?
    #1098606 - 11/30/02 04:37 PM (14 years, 11 months ago)

had a test jar of pr, half pint jar of rye grain, colonized great and made a little casing for it, the casing layer is prolly about 1/4 inch, and 2 days later the top of the casing is covered with rizmorphic growth evenly through it, but the little arms of the growth are just growing outward and doesnt seem like there are realyl any knotts....could my casign layer be to thin, i already took it out of the incubator and threw some saran over it to sit on my shelf.

You thought you brought your best lines but they couldn't touch mine
I rocked you in your knot hope you have better luck next time

The knots don't have anything to do with how thin your casing layer is. Once you take it out of the incubator and induce pinning, you will notice pins in a little while.
