My new plants
    #1098056 - 11/30/02 10:52 AM (14 years, 8 months ago)

I planted those a week before, and now they started growing ! They are kinda purple, I love them ! The biggest for now is named Enrique. Hes like a mushroom - so tall ! It will soon be winter here, its cold. I keep them in my room, behind the window.I planted 4 or 5 seeds I think

^^^^^^^ on this first pic Enrique look mutated... cause there is some weed behind him, that just grew from the soil

Theyre cute  I hope Enrique will be female

Dude, unless you get a STRONG light on those, the winter sunlight(less than 12 hours BTW) filtered through your window, isn't gonna do verry much.
The stalks are already stretched, so it's important to GENTLY tie them to a POP-SICLE stick or something, before the plants fall over and sever the stems.
Nice plants though, the purple you are experiencing is natural in most marijuana seedlings, they'll grow out of it if they make it another week.Or the purple could be
a nitrogen problem, but they're still young.
What strain is it? Bagseeds?
I live in Canada and have about 25 different seed strains to trade if you want any man...
P.S. I'd like some spores!

I'd say you have about 3-5 days before they get too stretched, and fall over...
If you tie them up, be carefull...
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, keep a fan blowing on them, to act as wind...It will strengthen the stalks and make them woody.
Take care man...

If you get a flourescent light, put it about an inch or less above your plant. Its not getting enough light.

Geesh Toad, how do you figure thats flourescent? Looks like incadencent(sp?) to me. That will just fry your plant long before it would do any good! Get the type of fixture you see in workshops. Does'nt have to even be full spectrum. What you have there is...sorry to say "Shit"

Give your plants some support too if they get too tall. In my experiences, they'll grow too fast and just fall over.

flourescents are somewhat decent for the vegetative stage of growing, but once you get to flowering they are virtually useless. get a flourescent for now and save up those $$$$ to buy a HPS or MH light & ballast.

They are not useless for flowering. You just won't get very dense buds.

Dude, I'd scrap those and wait for the seeds I'ma send ya...They'll be short fat plants that grow a nice single cola(if done without topping) thats dense without HID...But, if ya throw one on them, you'll have godzilla buds by march...
