from a shrommerite in a trade

but I recieved them 2day and they were origanaly from the FSRE (acording to the labeling) so I imagine they have been passed around a few times cuz he told me he got them from a shroomerite trade out of germany.

so what does everyone think I should try first for spawn substrate material..I know grass seed, but what else verm for moisture, straw, coffee for Nitrogen? brf/drf, PF-tek, grain/wbs or what? need advice.

In my experience, the mycelium grows fairly slowly, especially on sterilized horse manure.  Room temperature seems fine for colonization (around 72F).  Although manure doesn't seem to be an ideal substrate, once fully colonized it pins readily when exposed to unsterile soil casing and cold temperatures.  But the pins don't always mature.  Invitro fruiting is unlikely.

I meant....how long ONCE I GET ISOLATES....I have to let the myc grow out a lil b4 I can use it for inoculations.  so like a 2" in diameter or like 3 days is more of what Im looking for.  is there a best time to use it or what?

on another note:
anybody else purchase an agar kit from sporeworks b4, I was just wondering if the flask that comes with it is PC-able or not?
