After this woman ran a stop sign and wrecked my Mitsubishi Starion, I finally managed to get a car. I have been driving my grandmother's to work and school for the past month. It's too damn slow though. I'm having the car shipped from Florida, and it should be here Wednesday. Here are pictures of it before it was loaded onto the truck.

I bet parts aren't cheap, or easy to find.
It is cool looking though.

The odometer stopped at 98,000, but the seller thinks it has maybe 120,000 now. It's high, but honestly it has less miles than anything I have owned previously. I do my own mechanic work on my cars, so I'm not too worried about repairs. I'm gonna give it a good tune up when I get it though.

There is the ebay auction. There are pictures of the interior if you scroll down some. Interior is less than perfect in some areas, but nothing I can't fix. It is twenty-five years old also. I wish it had as much power as the later models, but I have heard that sixteen valve engines sound nicer. They have potential though.

My first car was a black 1993 Eclipse GSX...until a woman ran a stop sign and fucked it. Ugh.

the 928's were really good models at the time and the 1984 model had a big design upgrade from the 1983, so that's a sweet deal. looks like it's been kept up pretty well, but there aren't any engine shots, so it's hard to know for sure.

Yeah. I was looking at another 928 in California, but the bank wouldn't loan me the 14k. Then I found a Mazda Speed 6 in Ohio that I liked, but even after I thought I secured the deal with the dealership they sold the car an hour before I was going to airmail them the check. Third time is a charm though. Do you think red or black interior is nicer? What about powdercoated black wheels?

Nice. I'm sure you're aware that they are known for electrical issues though. The engines in those are supposed to be reliable, but when something goes $$. Good luck with it.
Sorry to hear about the starion. Was it a wide or a narrow body(I like the narrow-body better myself)?

Nah, it had the wide fender flares. The girl told her insurance that it didn't do anything to my car and she didn't submit her claim. The fender flare was dented in as far as it used to stick out lol. The wheel was bent, and wobbled, but I drove it atleast another 2000 miles after that. It was a trooper.
