How many of yall are looking forward to hitting up the feilds? For all you non East Texas people, it has been raining hard almost for the past week and high humidity
Sorry im so excited figured I would post a thread, I will definatly update with pics from my findings. Im new to the site , but have talked to a few really cool people on here. Hoping to stick around and learn ALOT more, im still learning the basics. I checked the weather looks like this weekend will be a pretty good time to check the fields, unless im mistaken.

Thinking about venturing around houston/bryan area sometime soon, with all the rain. I already know of one field that produces everytime i go, just looking for something a little more fruitful and perhaps more secluded. Mr. Farmer, can I take some pictures of the beuatiful trees growing all over your property? I am an arborphotographer.

It was an upset, didnt find anything but really small ones growing on fresh patties..the feild was still really wet and was sprinking outside a little later..I guess im gonna wait another day or just next day of sun to check it out again. If anyone on the SW Houston side wants to go picking just pm me.

Dude..... that threads nearly three years old.
I live in the Houston area too. Good luck finding a mud puddle, much less a mushroom. Way to friggin dry.
Hopefully that changes soon.

I live in south Houston, does anyone have any spots to go shrooming. We got a little rain this past week. I have been hitting up a pasture in dayton texas but it only has been producing snow caps.

They dont have to give exact spots but maybe a town or an area where they are growing. I see those post all the time, some say the woodlands is doing good, some said college station was doing good. Thats all Im looking for nothing to revealing.
