NE Ohio noob 2nd time identification

Shroom 1: Found in a dense deciduous forest on leaf/wood debri Bruised a green/blue very quickly Did not have gills but a spongey type of material Could not get a successful spore print but the color of the spongey material is a deep red/purple color Found after a brief period of rain
  
Type of ground it was growing on

looks like it could be boletus subvelutipes.the bolets that stain blue r said to be poisonous.they r kinda common

B. subvelutipes has red hairs at the base. Did this one have red hairs at the base?

Hmm all from memory now, i dont remember seeing any red hairs but this shroom was a bit damaged from bugs and weathering
