upstate vs. the city
    #10972462 -

they both have their advantages, but I feel like living in the city would give you more opportunity because there are so many damn people, but I guess that also makes it a little more competitive .

upstate has it's chill points too.  easy parking- less people.      but there isn't much to do in upstate.

i currently live in more upstate area and I'm not such a  fan of it.  going to the city is always a fun mother fucking time  ..............

I eventually want to move out of the city and live off the grid.:peace:

I never liked the crime, poverty, and noise that is often associated with larger cities.  It can also cost a heck of a lot more to live in a city.

There is more to do in a city, and its more "exciting", but it seems like there is never any "downtime" living there.  People are always rushing around from place to place, and it can get aggravating.

i guess the constant running around can be annoying-  and the crime sucks.

i was in queens last week to go to a concert- i park my car somewhere in a residential neighborhood and when I got back my fucking airbag/horn was missing............  shit like that makes living upstate nice.

it can suck at times when there isn't shit to do though-  but that's why it's always good to have some ganja  :potleaf:  if you are upstate

I've lived in a small town in Tennessee for 11 years now, and I love it. I hate big cities.

There are absolutely no redeeming qualities of upstate, central, or western New York. Unless you mean like north country upstate. Adirondacks and shit. Then that's alright, but still not my scene.

I would have to say the same. I love the city, but the hectic atmosphere is not my bag. I am a chilled, laidback kind of person. Nature is my thing! I like the lights of the city, but all the people rushing around is not good for my mental state :P

i've been to a few concerts in williamsburg recently- that looks like a cool place to live -- lot of good music people down there, but also lost of hipsters  :craven:
