pressure cooking 20oz plastic?

can this be done? could i pressure cook plastic bottles, or would they wither and die under the extreme pressure/heat? what about boiling? would they withstand a 150 degree bot o water? any help would be appreciated!!

Boiling is 210 degrees, it may work I doubt it. DOnt P.C it though the plastic will melt, sorry dude

melt isnt the word for what will happen if you try to pc plastic bottles sorry but its true thats like tryna put a light match on your arm and seeing if it wont burn

some idiot did that about a year ago. They were all melted and fucked up. He had pictures. I forget who it was.

Ziplock disposable containers will make it through the Pressure cooker just fine. Not sure if this is a viable option for the project you have in mind. Recently I tried the cheaper "Off Brand" reusable/disposable plastic containers for 1hr. at 15psi. Worked fine with no distortion at all.
