Is Penis Envy actually found in nature or was it "engineered"?

The spores originate from south america...I believe it was Terence McKenna who developed the strain...

how would it survive?
can hardly drop spores, maybe it's a scientifically engineered strain.

Well. My buddy grew PE out once. Once the caps fully open they drop spores. About 5 of 30 'shrooms had purple stipes.

That's probably close to a billion spores.

I put a mono out in my barn with a window when one got the mean green to see what would happen. I don't know if it was that I took off the lid and let it go  or what but they all got fully open and all dropped spores.
